It is really good to see the students' fantastic works with the assistance of the latest technologies, such as CAD, 3D modelling, 3D printing, VR and AR. The design schools are always attractive to architects, for the exchange of ideas, for the research of technology, for the pursuit of knowledge.
Back to school
When we were in the university, our architectural learning programs were mainly focusing on theoretical knowledge and skill practice. We were also curious to the latest 3D modelling, which was on the leading edge technology in those years.
Afterwards, we realised the heritage buildings mentioned in the textbooks always have classic design ideas and design methods, when you look them into details. The hand sketch skills we managed in the campus is also a very good method for design communication. Architects should never stop learning.
